West Ham United are in talks with bringing in former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Julen Lopetegui to replace David Moyes.
The Hammers are set to part company with Moyes this summer after the Scottish manager led the club to European glory in the Europa Conference League last season.
West Ham had previously talked with Rúben Amorim over the role with the Sporting CP manager flying into London for talks this week.
However, with the London club reportedly not willing to pay Amorim's compensation fee West Ham have now held 'productive talks' with Julen Lopetegui according to The Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg.
The former Porto, Spain, Real Madrid, Sevilla, and Wolves manager is currently without a job although he has reportedly yet to convince all of the higher-ups at West Ham.
Lopetegui oversaw 27 games during his brief stint at Molineux with a record of 10 wins, 6 draws, and 11 losses.
