Antoine Semenyo scored the only goal as 10-man Bournemouth edged past Wolves with a 1-0 victory at Molineux.
The visitors dominated from the start and capitalised on a defensive error from the hosts to take the lead in the 37th minute, with Semenyo finishing from close range.
Wolves showed improvement in the second half and thought they had levelled the score with Hwang Hee-chan's header in the 66th minute.
However, VAR intervened and disallowed the goal due to a foul by Matheus Cunha in the build-up.
Andoni Iraola's men were reduced to 10 men with 11 minutes to play when Milos Kerkez was given a straight red card after a reckless tackle on Matt Doherty.
More drama came in stoppage time when Gary O'Neil's men thought they had salvaged a point with a stoppage-time goal, but it was disallowed for offside, sealing Bournemouth's hard-fought victory.
With this win, the Cherries moved up to 10th place, while Wolves remain 12th.
