Aston Villa's Alisha Lehmann could be on her way to Mexico with a trio of Liga MX Femenil sides said to be interested in the forward.
According to apparent transfer expert Fernando Esquivel, Club América are currently the closest to signing the Swiss international with fellow Mexican clubs Querétaro and Club León also said to be keen.
However, any club looking to sign Lehmann will have to pay a significant fee with the 25-year-old having at least two years left on her contract.
Lehmann signed a fresh deal with Villa back in August 2023 to keep her at the club until at least 2026 with the option of extending for a further year.
Since joining the Villans from West Ham United back in 2022, Lehmann has played 73 games for the club scoring 13 goals.
