West Ham have announced that David Moyes will leave the club once his contract ends at the end of the season.

Moyes is set to depart the London Stadium after six seasons at the helm.

Under his guidance, the Hammers ended a 43-year trophy drought by clinching the Conference League title and achieved two top-seven finishes in the Premier League.

The team suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat against Chelsea on Sunday, marking their second consecutive Premier League away game conceding five goals.

Currently positioned in ninth place, West Ham trail Manchester United by five points, with the latter having two games in hand, meaning the chances of European football next season are very slim.

According to reports, former Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui is expected to take charge, having already agreed terms with the Hammers.

Wow, it's shocking to hear that David Moyes will be leaving West Ham at the end of the season. He's been at the club for six years and brought some much-needed success, including a trophy win and top-seven finishes in the Premier League. It's a shame to see him go after such a tough defeat against Chelsea, but I'm excited to see what Julen Lopetegui can bring to the team. Hopefully, he can help secure European football for next season.

As a football fan, I am sad to see David Moyes leave West Ham. He brought success to the club after a long trophy drought and led them to two top-seven finishes in the Premier League. It's a shame that his last game ended in a heavy defeat, but that shouldn't overshadow his achievements. Excited to see what Julen Lopetegui can bring to the team next season.

As a football fan, I am extremely disappointed to hear that David Moyes will be leaving West Ham at the end of the season. He has done a fantastic job during his time at the club, bringing us our first trophy in over four decades and consistently leading us to top finishes in the Premier League. The 5-0 defeat against Chelsea was a tough one to swallow, but let's not forget all the successes we've had under Moyes. I wish him all the best for the future
