Rúben Amorim is unlikely to take either the Liverpool or West Ham United manager after meetings took place in London last night.
The Sporting manager, who is close to securing a second league title with the Lisbon club this season, flew from Portugal to England yesterday evening for talks with the Hammers.
However, according to Portuguese outlet Record, the London club wasn't able to convince Amorim to abandon Sporting for a move to the Premier League. Reports have also stated that the 39-year-old is no longer high on Liverpool's list to succeed Jürgen Klopp in the summer.
The manager's future is still in doubt at Sporting though, with Amorim still coveted by clubs in Europe.
Sporting could potentially win the league this weekend should Benfica lose to Braga and Sporting defeat Porto.
