Mansfield Town secured their promotion to League One with a 2-1 victory over Accrington Stanley at the One Call Stadium.

The Stags took the lead early on thanks to a George Maris shot that deflected off Accrington's Tommy Leigh. Stephen Quinn doubled the lead in the second half, tapping in the rebound after his initial shot was saved.

Although Accrington scored late through Leigh, Mansfield held on to seal their return to the third tier after 21 years.

Meanwhile, Stockport, who had already secured promotion, clinched the League Two title with a commanding 5-2 victory over Notts County at Meadow Lane.

Paddy Madden's first-half hat-trick set the visitors on the path to their first EFL title since 1966/67.

In the second half, Antoni Sarcevic added a fourth goal for Stockport, but Notts County attempted to mount a comeback with goals from Macaulay Langstaff and Dan Crowley with around 30 minutes remaining.

However, Ethan Pye sealed the win for Stockport in the 84th minute, confirming their League Two title.

Elsewhere, Colchester United's 2-0 victory over Grimsby Town sealed Forest Green's relegation to the National League.

After seven seasons in the EFL, Forest Green are sat at the bottom of the table, eight points adrift from 22nd-placed Colchester United in League Two with two matches remaining.
