A Kevin De Bruyne-inspired Manchester City came from behind to seal a 4-2 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday to move level on points with Premier League leaders Liverpool.
A tidy finish after three minutes from Jean Mateta gave the Eagles a surprise lead and ruffled the feathers of Pep Guardiola's reigning champions.
However, a fantastic strike into the top corner from Belgian playmaker De Bruyne levelled matters before the break and further goals from Rico Lewis, Erling Haaland and De Bruyne put the visitors 4-1 up.
The blasted left-footed effort for his second of the afternoon brought up De Bruyne's 100th goal in a City shirt - the midfield maestro having also contributed 156 assists across all competitions since moving to Manchester from Wolfsburg back in 2015.
A late consolation strike from Odsonne Edouard gave the home fans something to cheer about, but City comfortably bagged the three points in the end to move second, level on points with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, who take on Manchester United tomorrow.
Arsenal could leapfrog both Liverpool and City if they beat Brighton in Saturday's evening kick-off.
