Luton Town missed an opportunity to climb out of the Premier League relegation zone as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Everton at Kenilworth Road.
The deadlock was broken in the 24th minute by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who confidently converted a penalty straight down the middle after Teden Mengi was penalised for his challenge on Jarrad Branthwaite during a corner.
Elijah Adebayo, making his first start since February, levelled the score on the half hour mark.
Despite dominating the second half, the Hatters struggled to create clear-cut chances and only came close to scoring a winner during injury-time.
The draw leaves Rob Edwards's side in 18th place in the table, tied on 26 points with 17th-placed Nottingham Forest, who now have a game in hand.
Meanwhile, the Toffees remain in 15th position with 37 points from their 36 matches.
